this is the unedited version of a mix cd i did in 2005 with two turntables (all vinyl no computers) and a cd player for samples and drops. many people have the edited version already (which is missing 3 tracks) and most of the people who have this version probably have forgotten all about it since it has been so long! this mix was recorded straight through in 3 parts without editing or the aid of computers... (i also walked 14 miles up hill both ways every day for a month with 5 crates of records in 3 feet of snow in bare feet and we had to ride the stationary bike to generate enough energy for the turntables to spin! this was back when you were just a glimmer in your momma's mind's eye... and new york was still a city!) annnnnyway, i made this as a response to playing 3 nights a week to impatient 21 year old monkeys in manhattan for 3 or so years... these are all of the mixes that i wished people would dance to but they all wanted fucking usher and justin timberlake... these ideas needed to get out so i purged them to a DAT recorder! hope you like it. most of this is unsuitable for work or children... this is some grown folk shit. this ain't got nothing to do with weddings ok?
