it's pretty difficult for me to put into words how fresh this wedding was... first of all this was a full FLASHBASH (and by that i mean all of the flashdance and bash please together) wedding! i djed, sharkpig handled the film/video, max was the photographer, YEAH! Rentals handled the furniture rentals, and smilebooth smileboothed. but man, there was sooooooooooooooo much more... they rented out the whole ace hotel for three days, the it house in joshua tree for their ceremony, they had a high school marching band, REBIRTH BRASS BAND all the way from new orleans, pretty much every food and beverage vendor in the world that has a truck lined the walkways, there was a vintage jaquar in place of an elephant for their take on a baraat, i could go on and on but i think you get the picture (if you don't... see below)

one of my best memories of the weekend was when brian and i started a beach ball fight (we were in the pool and we were against everyone in the hot tub (i think, but it was sort of everyone for themselves) with all the guests at around 2 am on sunday (look at all of those beach balls) and after demolishing that beach ball fight, trays of (i am not joking) 100 shots of tequilla came out! hahaha, that was followed by 100 tecates, (they literally ordered 100 shots & 100 beers!!!) then came a never ending stream of food. we felt like kings for awhile there, kings coming back from war.

and danced... to ANYTHING (and everything) i played! what a treat.

word is that there will be a DANCE OFF at The Cream New York on August 14th! going back on the road for a bit so don't hate me if it takes a minute to get back to you, or if there is a lack of posts for a bit. heading to NY, Park City, NY again, Park City again, Nantucket, Maine, Houston and i think there are some other places in there too. anyway isn't this photo amazing?
