I feel like palm springs is going to be the next hipster hotspot to get married. And yes, weddings are making a huge comeback in a very enlightened way (no need to follow the straight and normal ways of tying the knot)... No house, no money, no job, but there is always love!

Right on cue our friends at The Ace Hotel are ahead of the curve (as usual)! They have opened a new place in Palm Springs featuring a modern 3,000 square foot building that opens onto a small outdoor amphitheater with an amazing pool. It's perfect for weddings, meetings, and the occasional family supper.

Our Friend Alex Calderwood (both Michael and I once called him "boss") is one of the owners. We have worked on countless events and projects over the years along side many of his current employees, for him and his partners. In addition to the hotels they are responsible for Rudy's, The Cha Cha Lounges, a few great nightclubs and an unparrelled heap of style!

The rooms are designed to embrace indoor-outdoor living area with cloaked, tent-like walls and a concrete floors which extend onto patios with outdoor fireplaces. The headboard of the custom-built bed comes equipped with cloth pockets for storage of magazines and other reading materials, and each room comes equipped with slatted walls where guests can hang their own pictures or artwork. The furniture is vintage, giving a handcrafted feel making each room unique, and the bleached canvas, wormy butternut wood, denim, and hemp are all in line with Ace's hybrid goal of comfort and sustainability.

The wow factor will be off the charts just by booking your wedding at this spot, and the trifecta would be adding Michael as your DJ, & Jesse, Max and I as your photographers. We'll take care of the wedding, the The Ace Hotel will take care of everything else, and you can free yourself up to take care of the love!
